Karin was an oncology nurse and took care of her husband Dave while he was on chemo for 10 years, he eventually passed due to his cancer Then she became a survivor herself. She and her current husband Lew bought a farm on the big island of Hawaii and founded a free cancer retreat for cancer survivors Kokolulu Cancer Farm and Retreats.

Brett Wilson was diagnosed with ALL, at 2 years old he was given 6 months to live. That was about 38 years ago. Some have called Brett a walking miracle.
