When Julie's mom passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2008 she was devastated. Julie wanted to find out more about the disease, so she went on the internet. She found the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, she was so impressed by part of their mission to create hope for those with pancreatic cancer, that she is now the event coordinator for the Milwaukee Affliate.

Imagine if you were a child and all you had ever known was cancer. That was Alex Scott, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma before her first birthday in 1996. Alex battled cancer hard, and day after her fourth birthday, She told her mom, that when she got out of the hospital she wanted to have a lemonade stand.
