12.31.10 - LoveHopeStrength.org

When Jim Chippendale was diagnosed with AML, a very agressive form of Leukemia he had a 50% chance of survival. Luckily someone he never met a thousand miles away in tiny Village in Germany was on the bone marrow donor registry and that saved his life. Inspired by this strangers generosity he along with his friend and cancer survivor Mike Peters of The Alarm founded Love Hope Strength in 2006. Combining Rock n Roll with cancer awareness Love Hope Strength has been at concerts and festivals all across the country registering people for the bone marrow registry and raising awareness and building cancer centers in countries all across the globe.
