Imagine if you were a child and all you had ever known was cancer. That was Alex Scott, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma before her first birthday in 1996. Alex battled cancer hard, and day after her fourth birthday, She told her mom, that when she got out of the hospital she wanted to have a lemonade stand. She said she wanted to give the money to doctors who had helped her. Amazingly she had raised 2,000 for "her hospital. Alex held lemonade stands every year until her death in 2004 at the age of 8, but she knew that with her help many people had started their own lemonade stands and raised over $1 million dollars for Alex's Lemonade Stand.
